I was going through the pictures on my phone and I found this one, I thought it was pretty nifty so I’m posting it:
In case you’re curious, that is one of my many, many, many gargoyles and next to it is a birthday card from my son. We had a fabulous dog named Domino that was a Dalmation/ Cattle Dog mix and I think the picture reminded my son of her- not for the obvious reason but the attitude more then anything else.

Our Sam was a cattle dog mix. Attitude is certainly part of their approach to life. Sam was just a bit of a control freak about the where everyone was, but otherwise pretty laid back.
Domino was feisty and high energy her entire life, that’s probably why she lived to 14 with a bad heart. She was diagnosed at 10 and the Vet said she had a year tops. She was lucky, she had a great quality of life, considering.
