Modifiable Me

RDP Wednesday: VERSATILE

How many versions are there of me?

Let  me see-

There’s  smiling me, the reasonable me, the me who knows

what to wear, what to say and who I should be today.

There’s the tired me, the energetic me, the me that never sleeps, the me that is never

awake

and the me that only comes to life when other people are around

Most of the time I feel like a Barbie in Box

who comes complete with shoes, dresses, and a pink car that only moves if you kick it

across the

floor and I wonder

yes I do wonder

who I could be if all those parts came together.

Would I  be a for real me

or just another me

like all of the other me’s

complete with

with cute little  shoes and a pink car that doesn’t really run

unless you kick it across the floor.

Keeping It Unreal

Surrealism is not a style – but a state of mind. It aims to subvert reality. To find the uncanny in the everyday. To tap into our unconscious desires and bring dreams to life-
