My September Countdown to Halloween is about to give way to October’s countdown.

As most of us are thinking  about snacks and goodies for our Halloween tables and treat bags, I would like to tell  you about a lady who served the family she was working for a sweet treat of Peaches and Ice Cream.

It made them deathly ill.

Actually the food itself was fine until the cook handled it.

Her name was Mary Mallon, but you may know her by another name:

Typhoid Mary.
