It comes as no surprise that people went on line Sunday, one day before Washington state set records for the highest temperatures recorded to JOKE and LOL about how having AC is cool.

Of course they seemed to be unaware that a day later things would get much worse and that people would be resorting to temporary fixes or driving around in their cars to escape the heat for an hour or so- but on the other hand people who would LOL about having AC when they damn well know how awful it was for other people are probably self centered tools who could careless about how they look on social media and to all of their Non-AC owning friends.

I managed to keep the heat down to around 90 in my place, but at various points during the day my dog was obviously in distress and I had to resort to things I learned to do to for my other dog who used to have seizures. When a dog has seizures their temperatures spike and it’s important to bring it down.

When my dog responded quickly to the cold compresses I got scared because he was in a bad way and by just looking at him it wasn’t obvious.

So.

Eff you my Facebook friends who LOL’d about having AC. It’s my heartfelt wish that you feel for one minute how my dog felt when his temperature was about to cause him some serious damage.

Not all of us got to be in your special club- but not to worry-

lots of us wished to be you, we envied you, we acknowledged the special place you held in the Universe.

Now go french kiss your AC units.
