One Road

Photographer Unknown

This is one of the streets in Pompeii that  was buried in ash when Mount Vesuvius erupted in

AD 79.

Do you know what it reminds me of?

A quiet little street that runs through the Basin Street Cemetery in New Orleans.

I’ve been down that street in Pompeii 🙂

    • That is my dream vacation. The closest I’ve been was the traveling Pompeii exhibit. That was really a fun experience. I never thought I would get to see some of those artifacts in real life.

It is wonderful I recommend doing it. The west coast of Italy, Naples, Genoa are fabulous
