In A Maze
JNW’s Halloween Challenge: Corn Maze/Hay Ride
There used to be a few farms out here- as far as I know no hayrides.
These are the suburbs and they have been for a long time.
But if you look around you can still find the wildness of what once was.
You only have to walk the maze to find it.

in the blink of an eye
we see what’s there
we see what’s on the inside

We want to bury
we want to hide
the things that don’t fit
that don’t have a place
on the outside

All you have to do is look
straight ahead
open your eyes and you will see
nothing on the inside
stays buried
for long.
