That Was Fun

If I had to pick some stand out moments of 2017 I would have to say what made it great to me was:

The movie ” Get Out

It snowed on Christmas Eve and On Christmas Day.

I got published in an E-Zine called “Modern Creative Life” !

I was really happy about that.

I wrote a Halloween story called, ” Wax Lips “  It was slightly twisted and  featured two of my  favorite characters- Milo and Jingle

My friend Heather is putting together a new hub for creatives at her new Website

While Waiting For Godot.

I’d tell you more, but that would spoil the fun.

Check it out and CREATE!!!

I went to my most FAVORITE place in the  world for  a short vacation.

I took the Clipper to Victoria BC- where I spent oodles of time at the Royal BC Museum AND I went on a Ghostly Walking Tour and I sort of developed a liking for chocolates. Actually, I gave chocolate  a chance because the shop was awesome and it’s supposed to be haunted by a ghost with missing fingers.

Yum.

Halloween was pretty neat in ’17- Space Aliens and Alien Autopsies  were a big thing- which I found to be far more cool then the Zombie theme.

I also discovered that I like to write poetry! What do you know. Weird right? I thought so. I’ve spent most of my life avoiding writing it, but I gave it a try and it was fun.

In a word I guess I thought 2017  was BRILLIANT because it was a full of adventure. I just hope that 2018 lives up to that!

Our Random View Writing Prompt #3- Best Part of 2017

Those Enduring Bones

Across the street from where I work is a little park with granite blocks scattered around under some trees.  People catch the buses there, they rush by the blocks to make the walk lights or they drive by without really looking at them.

It’s a shame because there’s a story there.

I found it by accident one day and it was quite a treat

Take a look:
