and here is a post I wrote last year about the fun I had carving a Pumpkin because I have been eagerly checking out the Pumpkin field I drive by everyday and I’m looking forward to doing a little carving SOON so here’s my carving adventure from 2021:
It’s Called:
“I Used A Big Knife”
I decided to carve my pumpkin because I wanted the seeds. Still. I almost stopped here because I thought it looked pretty cool at this point:

I was standing there, staring at that big knife stuck in my pumpkin and something in me
wanted to keep cutting. I blame feeling on all of those Halloween movie ads that are
playing all over the place.
I’ll ‘fess up. I gleefully went with my gut and started to cut away and before I know it
it was time to pop the top.
At times like this you know an autopsy saw and a hammer w/ hook would come in handy.

Surgery is going fine this point and the patient’s vitals are pumpkin-ish and holding steady.

Post- Op Update.
My dog, Hamish Macbeth, tried to eat the patient. I made him dress up like a butterfly so he’s having issues right now

I wasn’t sure how I felt about another Addams Family reboot- but to be fair ALL of the film and the tv version of The Addams Family have been reboots because they all were interpretations of the comics.
With that being said, I’ve always felt that the tv show and the movies were great and I loved them but they never quite embraced the truly macabre nature of the ink version- until now.
So I am going to watch ” Wednesday ” and I’m willing to bet I’m going to love it
to death.
There are 75 days left to Halloween- and I’m feeling a little creepy and kooky and all together ooky.
