I don’t spend a lot of time dwelling on the past and I don’t spend a second thinking about the future.
If I have learned one good and solid truth in this life, being in the here and now is the best place to be.
I’ve taken a break from writing because this year I just didn’t want to jump into the Christmas festivities and during Christmas I actually write a lot of Christmas stuff.
My Christmas stuff can be warped,but hey who is counting words here.
The thing is, when I thought about decorating for writing I got stressed, so I let it go.
Now I’m feeling more optimistic so here I am.
Ready to ho ho ho.
I have two favorite cartoons-
one is ‘ Bluey ” which my Granddaughter introduced me to a few years ago and my current favorite is “Haunted Hotel ” on Netflix:
My favorite character is Abbadon- his clueless take on all things practical and modern reminds me of myself when I was seven:
Even though Haunted Hotel IS a comedy, the reveal behind Nathan’s death took my breath away because I wasn’t expecting it.
AND there is a truly scary character called ‘Candlehead’ who is an eyeless horror of a man covered in wax with a burning candle stuck to the top of his head. He has a fixation about candles and to be honest- he sort of freaks me out-he is actually a scary ghost and I am curious about his backstory.
So there they are, two of my favorite cartoons check them out if you haven’t seen them already, they are great.

Oh, LOL. I have never been good at a single thing in my life.
It’s not like I haven’t tried, but the best I can do is get by and that doesn’t count does it?
Wait…maybe that IS one thing I am good at.
