My Further Adventures In My Weekend Ghost Hunting Expedition:
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore—
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
“’Tis some visitor,” I muttered, “tapping at my chamber door—
Only this and nothing more.”
It didn’t tap at my door at midnight
it tapped at my window
and I wasn’t reading ( I was writing).
Still it was insistent , it tapped at my window until I looked up and saw her.
I took her picture.
She tapped again.
Curious, I opened the window and fed her a little snack.
I am not Poe, my bird was not a Raven, she was a Gull.
Not exactly the stuff that nightmares are made of, but the best humor is gallows humor so this counts as one of my Ghost Hunting weekend ‘find’s.
