In my opinion the phrase ” Set in stone” is a misnomer.

It implies that once something is committed to stone, it becomes fixed and is unchangeable.

These are examples of things set in stone that are very much alive and have many stories to tell us.

from my body

from this new darkness

There were no monsters in this dark

there were no demons, devils or nightmares.

There was only me.

It was Hell
