I removed my acrylic nails last week so I could go back to playing the guitar.

Everyone has told me that it’s going to hurt a lot and that my real nails would never be the same again.

It only hurt a little ( I removed them myself, but I’ve been going twice a month to have them work on for over 10 years so it didn’t really hurt that much- I knew what to expect )

My real nails  were pretty healthy so the thing about them being paper thin and malformed wasn’t true. I figure that’s because I did take care of them, so they are actually the same as before so I suppose that’s good.

I knew I had to wait to let things toughen back up a bit before I started playing again and this weekend is THE WEEKEND.
