Jemma and Gwen Photo A.M.Moscoso

This is my Granddaughter  Jemma proudly introducing me to her spectacular Halloween find, Gwen.

Jemma told me Gwen is her sister and that I now have a new granddaughter, and isn’t that wonderful?

I am thrilled that my granddaughter has such a great sense of fun and adventure.

I’m also thrilled to be a Lola again.

Knock.Knock. Knock.

What have you been working on?

Halloween begins for me in July with excitement  and joy.

Inspired by Halloween stories fall into my lap one by one every day.

But this year, I’m sad to report I found the Halloween Spirit late in the season.

It wasn’t hiding from me. It was all around me the entire time, wailing like a hungry cat asking to be fed.

I was distracted, and I am very worried about the upcoming  presidential election and what its results will bring into the world.

The anxiety this has caused  meant I couldn’t hear the howling werewolves, I couldn’t hear the cackling witches, I couldn’t hear any of my Halloween visitors knocking on my door.

So in fear I may never feel inclined to celebrate anything again except getting through the day because a piece of human wreckage and his cult were put in  charge, I am celebrating Halloween. I answered the knock upon my door.

But unlike other times, it’s been with sadness.

October Caturday!

Happy October Caturday Everybody!

You Should Probably Have A Seat

Here is a secret about me that the people who know me would never, ever in a million years suss out.

Not a soul in my world would  even stumble across my secret  on accident because I am that careful with it.

My secret will break hearts. But as the saying goes,” The Truth Shall Set You  Free ” and broken hearts do eventually heal and if they don’t all I can say is super glue works wonder on everything  it touches.

So let’s free ourselves, shall we?

Here it is, my nearest and dearest friends and family. Here is my well guarded secret.

When the Moon is full, I do NOT turn into a Werewolf.

I don’t even hop on a broom and fly over your house and cackle madly in maniacal  glee as I pass by.

You see, the truth is that I sit  at home when the Moon is full and I watch British Murder mysteries on TV and I eat seafood nachos until  I burst.

It’s all of the other days when the moon is NOT full that I turn into a werewolf.

I hope my truth hasn’t disappointed you too much.
