Marine scientists from the University of Auckland captured a rare sight off New Zealand’s coast: a Maori octopus riding atop a mako shark, the world’s fastest shark. The bizarre encounter, recorded via drone and GoPro, lasted 10 minutes, with both animals appearing calm and unaffected.
You might be planning to have a great Friday, but will it be as great for you as it was for this Octopus that hitched a ride on the back of a shark that can hit speeds up to 74 km/h (46 mph)?
You might.
But I doubt it.
