Where He Lives

For Experience Writing  Halloween Photography Challenge: Bogeyman

Photo A.M. Moscoso

Who is YOUR bogeyman?

Does he have a face? Does he walk, crawl, fly?

Where does he live?

Does he eat when he is hungry? Does he get thirsty? Does he have a tongue in his mouth?

Does he know your name and if you were to turn around right now and find him standing there what would you scream?

I know you think you would scream help, but more then likely you would scream his name because in the pit of our Soul, in the darkest corner of our brains we know what scares us- and who.

I’ve posted three pictures here where I think my Bogeyman lives, places he goes when he wants to hide, places he goes when he sleeps.

I would say beware of these places- but where would be the fun in that?

TheMagical Artist

I love to watch an artist paint or sketch.

A line here, a swipe there a flick of the wrist and like magic an image appears.

It’s magical it really is magical.

I wish that I could carve pumpkins with that same magical  ease.

A cut there, a little slice there a flick of the wrist there and there and like magic a face appears on my pumpkin- maybe it will be a screaming face, a laughing face a face with too many eyes or not enough teeth.

I think about carving pumpkins a lot during Halloween and when it isn’t anywhere near Halloween I still think about carving pumpkins-

among other things.
