The company I work for is in the process of changing our location and considering the Company has been in the same building for 100 years ( yes really ) I have been pretty busy packing and moving my department ( oh the perks of being a manager )
The thing of it is, I work in the part of the building that is old, it’s walls are brick, it’s below street level so it’s like working in a catacomb.
Plus it’s haunted by a guy in a blue work shirt that has shown up in moments of high drama ( like the Nisqually Earthquake.
I’m feeling challenged because I know this space has inspired my writing.
And I am wondering if this move will change the flavor in my stories.
God, I hope it doesn’t.

Plenty of eerie places for inspiration. And sometimes the most innocuous spaces are the most terrifying.
That is SO true Chris!
Well…he might decide to move for the company.
I think he is the ghost of a warehouse person who died down here I believe it was in the early 70’s. Maybe he doesn’t want to leave.
Both times I’ve seen him he’s smiling and holding a coffee cup.
And FYI I didn’t know anyone had died down here until after I saw him a couple of times. Nobody likes to share that someone died near the desk you work at . I mean, It wouldn’t have bothered me, but apparently it was one of those incidents that people decided to not share.
