Don’t Fence Me In

What’s the best way to explore a new city?

Two cars driving on a curvy mountain road at night with surrounding trees and visible stars

When I travel to a new place, I find a starting point.

My starting place can be a cemetery, a diner or a post office. I Choose these places because if I’m calling for a cab or trying to explain where I need to get back too  I found out most locals know where these places are without the entire address.

When I was in New Orleans, I wandered all around the French Quarter and even outside of it because you can see the steeple from Saint Michael’s Cathedral and work your way back to Bourbon Street easily.

Now that language translation apps are a thing and do a decent job, you can wonder as you wander too

So get out there and explore and ENJOY.

Perfect

This short movie is grim and intense. It also tickled my funny bone.

Check it out.
