I’ve Made My List, I’ve Checked It Twice!

Here is my New Years Resolution list. It does not involve Voodoo curses or ritual sacrifices. Sorry. But cheer up, that leaves 2023 wide open.

This year I promise to

laugh more and growl less

and if I growl I promise to not laugh at the same time.

This year I promise to

write more then I did in the past yer

which was a lot.

This year I promise to create art

everyday instead of looking at

art on my computer screen.

This year I promise to listen to music

instead of having conversations with people

who are talking to me because they have nothing else to do.

This year I promise to

tell bad jokes and cook real meals

I promise to live and not just exist.

RDP Tuesday : TWIST

As a rule, where I live in Washington state we don’t usually get Christmas snow . But this year we got Christmas snow- and record breaking cold temperatures. But who cares because it’s Christmas snow!

In a weird twist, my son and his family live in Wisconsin and not only do they get more snow then us its a lot colder there. This year Christmas they did not get Christmas snow until after Christmas.

But as you can see by the pictures they sent- it was better late then never because they had still FUN.

I’m not a total Debbi Downer when it comes to 2022, I just thought this Meme was funny and I wanted to try out the effects and video play from my word program.

Now- back to our regularly scheduled programming.

I know that making New Years Resolutions isn’t a thing – but I like to make them because sometimes I surprise myself and I pull a few of them off.

I like to do the Goodreads challenge and the first year I took it I put down my goal as a hundred books. I came close but didn’t make it. So the next year I put down my goal as 105 and each year I miss it I add on five more.

My goal this year will be 120.

So why  do I this? To torture myself?

Oh pshaw, if I want to do that I find  more creative ways to do it then to make a list and cross stuff off.

Nope, I do New Years Resolutions and things like the Goodreads challenge for the thrill of the chase.

So. I will be posting my New Years Goals soon- grab a comfy seat and your favorite beverage and snack. This should be good.
