When considering our Halloween Costumes what do we do?

We ask our shadows, ” hey guys, what’s looking good? ”

Most of what our shadows like to wear would give Stephen King nightmares and make your Grandma have a hissy fit, but THAT is what Halloween is all about.

The thing is, what if you honestly don’t have a single shadow or dark thought?

I know, humans are human and we all have shadows.

Unless you’re a dog.

This is one of my dog’s costumes- he’s a Unincorn.

Halloween needs a soundtrack like all holidays do.

Sometimes Halloween music gets a little matchy matchy- the music and decorations go hand in claw. The visuals and audio are all about blood and fangs and witches and werewolves and ghosts and that is all fine.

Sometimes you need to think outside the box. Just add some old imagery to some new tunes with a little spin and see how it feels.

l found a cover of Thunderstruck by AC/DC done in the medieval style and it was awesome. It’s going to add a little flavor to my playlist

In the event you are plagued by Vampires or believe you might fall victim to one this Halloween, you can take the following steps.

In 17th and 18th century Poland, people who were candidates to become one of the living dead were buried with sickle across their throats ( so that when they got up they would cut their heads off ).

You can also place a large rock under their chins ( and in some cases jam them down their throats ) to prevent them from drinking blood.
