I to like to go to open air farmer’s markets to shop a little, but the biggest reason I like to go to them are to see the musicians and the magicians and the dancers.
The performers were peppered through the grounds between the vendor’s stalls, around corners and sometimes in stairwells and balconies.
I’m sorry I never got to see flashmobs like the two in these clips turn up like magic and that’s a shame. It must be a great experience to find yourself in a crowd when this happens.
Here are two clips of really wonderful performances.
In both cases tears, passionate whispers, desperate promises made to God or even the Devil are involved.
In today’s Song Lyric Sunday prompt, I’ve decided to focus on the dark June Brides- they are not be as celebrated as the traditional Brides, they don’t register for gifts, they don’t get parties or gifts of fancy underwear and honeymoons to tropical Islands.
But none the less they are Brides too and this song and the artwork I’ve chosen reflect that.
