Are We There Yet?

Halloween Photography Challenge: Embarrassment

Every year I challenge myself to write about Halloween. I normally start posting for Halloween in July. By September I have a nice little body of work and I’m ready to move into November when I write ghost stories ( it’s a thing, my family LOVES to tell ghost stories over the Christmas season)

This year I dropped the ball. I started during September (  kind of ). I told myself that there was a lot going on in the world, in my life and that at least I got myself together in time to make it to October. I wasn’t feeling great about being so far behind my schedule.

Now look at this chalk art:

Photo A.M. Moscoso ” Ghost House “

The kid who drew it had a zillion things going on the day she drew it. But the thing is, it’s creative, it’s got a little story to it. I love it. I’m  fan.

I’m posting this to remind myself that what matters is, when things are rough, that groove is always there for you to jump into. You just have to make the leap.

    • That’s why I write everyday. Sometimes I go back and look at what I did on days that I didn’t feel like I was at my best and I surprise myself. Still I wish I had gotten into Halloween earlier. Oh well. Here I am!
