I am this total loser whose best friend is her dog and just when I thought the world had it in for me, the 2024 Presidential Election showed me everyone hates everybody else and not only that- they will burn their own house down to SHOW you how much they hate you.
I’ve been kicked in the head a lot in my life, but nobody drove themselves off a cliff screaming ‘ yeehaw ‘ as they plunged to their death to show me how worthless I was to them, but you know- I kind of wish they had. My point is, maybe the people in my life didn’t hate me as much as I thought they did.
So the coolest thing I found that I have kept in these recent days is my sense of humor- I thought it was gone and the POOF it shows back up again at the darnedest time!
I’m waiting for the next pandemic to cull about 1/3 of the global population, including most conservative extremists, out of existence. Mother Nature has let too many people loose on the planet. Time for a reset. And always time for a sense of humor.
Part of me hopes that things won’t get as bad as I think they will under Trump. But on the other hand, he’s out of his mind so this train jumping the tracks no matter what happens.
