- Two state lawmakers and their spouses were shot by someone impersonating a police officer.
- Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband were fatally shot in their home. Sen. John Hoffman and his wife are out of surgery and are recovering.
- The suspect, Vance Boelter, who was dressed as a police officer, is considered armed and dangerous after shooting at police. Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Boelter.
