“The Cat Symphony” (1868) šāā¬š¼
by Moritz von Schwind
Drawn as a tongue-in-cheek jab at Richard Wagner, this āviolin sonataā was so advanced even the great Joseph Joachim couldnāt play it ā because the notes are cats.
Moritz von Schwind gifted it to Joachim on his Berlin appointment, noting they both belonged to the mysterious Order of the Black Cat.
Hush! You’re not supposed to mention the Society to non-members. Anita. I’m shocked…just shocked!

Sure! Blame it on poor Hamish!
LOL. He wouldn’t cross a cat in a million years. My cats were his big brothers and he was as protective of them as they were of him.
