We are halfway to Halloween.
Can you believe I missed the date- which was at the end of April.
I am hanging my head in shame as I type this.
I hope I don’t find healthy snacks nailed to my front door this Halloween- so I am going to
celebrate this weekend and this is what I have planned (in the hopes that the Spirit of Halloween forgives me my trespasses:

Create a Facebook album or Pinterest board for fall and Halloween inspiration though I might just open a photoblog here on WP and link it to this blog.
Start planning a Halloween Costume to wear to my Granddaughter’s Halloween/Dance at her school this October.
Write about my Halfoween weekend on Sunday or Monday
I love the holidays- Christmas, Thanksgiving, my Dog’s birthday and of course
the best , the merriest the brightest and the most fun holiday
happens to be my favorite holiday which is
Halloween.

Halloween night ( and in my case ) the many, many months that lead up to it, are packed full of fun things like cemetery exploration, cooking, watching and reading and writing scary stories.
Halloween is the one holiday that lights up my brain and warms my heart no matter what the time of year it is or what other holiday I am celebrating at the time.
The thought of Halloween night gives me hope and joy, that’s why I love it so.
