She Got The Chair

RDP Tuesday: EXPLORE
Last year on my visit to the Ripley’s Museum in Wisconsin just before Halloween I took these pictures of a chair used in Momento Mori Photography

I went back again this year ( they move the exhibits around so it’s fun to run across things I missed on my last visit ) but this year I had my Granddaughter Jemma sit in the chair and I asked her to make a ‘spooky face ‘

She brought it and I got a pretty spooky face to go with the morbid display she posed in.

As a side note, once she sat in the chair, I saw how small it was- child sized. I know, that was creepy. I didn’t tell her what the chair was used for, but one day I will.

She won’t be freaked out. She’s my granddaughter. She’ll probably put this b/w photo on a Christmas card lol

Three Years from Now

In three years I hope to have learned some new hobbies like drawing and crocheting

and I’d like to be more proficient in calling for the dead to come forward for a chat.

I  have a feeling I won’t have the sewing and drawing thing nailed down. Oh well. One can only try and hope for the best.

George and His Friends

WP prompt asks us- Do you need time?

I could always use more time, but George and his friends who are resting at Stone Cemetery in Dodge County, Wisconsin have all the time in the world.

Lucky ol’ George.

In Celebration of Felines

The thing about Cats is that they can see ghosts,

unlike dogs

cats aren’t worried about what a mean spirited  ghost can do to you

but mean spirited Ghosts are most definitely aware of what cats can do to them.

Next time your cat’s eyes are closed and he or she is swishing his tail from side to side, for no visable reason at all,  give them an extra boop or treat.

They’ve earned it.
