100 Days of Halloween Fun: WEEKEND RECAP

This last weekend was the first weekend since  Summer began that I felt like I could look forward to Halloween.

What can I say? Life here in the States has been on the dark side ( and NOT in a good way ) some bottom feeder hit my Jeep ( door on passenger side ) while it was  parked in the cart lot at my place and THEN DROVE OFF WITHOUT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY for what they did- plus I got sick right after the 4th of July  and I didn’t exactly bounce back very quickly

Today I am feeling my old energy returning. Now there’s a little more to feel hopeful about- I feel like I am getting some traction again.

So.

#3 Halloween Happy-Three Halloween Facts About Me

ONE

I have never dressed up as a monster for Halloween.

I have never been a Witch, or a Werewolf or a Vampire.

When you live with monsters in your head,  the way I do because I write about them it

narrows the costume field.

My favorite costume is my Flapper costume. I couple it with corpse makeup and then I

pop my dog into my Jeep and we drive to McDonalds  for burgers and  to wherever I

can get him his  pupcup.

He dresses up like a pirate. He’s infinitely cuter then me. I consider him my treat to

humanity.

 

TWO

I have gone to cemeteries on Halloween to leave flowers and toys for members

of my family- I also leave their favorite candies. It’s just something I like to do.

The question:

Have I ever seen a ghost on Halloween?

Well. Of course I have. Doesn’t everyone?
