RDP Sunday: AMENABLE

I will follow you quietly, patiently, wherever you chose to go

I won’t make a sound

say a word,

I wont sneeze or cough or wheeze when I am cold.

 

I will only revel in your senses

delight in what makes you laugh or groan with pleasure

I will take the shape that pleases your eye

obediently  parrot with conviction  anything you say.

 

I will be the ghost of what I could have been

a shade of who I never was

a living cadaver, I embalmed myself

I will be perfect in your love.
