Do you know the world is full of cats that can understand German?

For today’s Caturday here is a clip of a guy calling out to random cats in different languages to see if they will respond. Most of them responded to German.

My cats only responded to human sacrifice  under a blood moon but it is what it is.

Scary Voices

There are 86 days left to Halloween and I just learned 2 things about the actor  who played the character ” Vecna ” on the oh so magnificent ” Stranger Things. “

First, I learned the actor, Jamie Bower Campbell,  also did the voice- which surprised me because that voice did not match up to the body it came out of.

Second- I learned that Vecna wasn’t a CGI- it wasn’t portrayed by a body double with CGI touches. Jamie Campbell did all the work.

Amazing.

Part Of The Time

RDP Thursday : Part Time

The Uncivilised Cat by Agnes Miller Parker, 1930.

Most of the time, I understand what I have to do to get through the day-

I smile when I have to, I show up for work and do my thing, I don’t get up on the stage and light myself on fire when I feel like nobody is paying attention to me.  I don’t yell or go on screeds on social media when I feel like no one cares about what I have to say or what I think.

So for the most part I feel like – as the saying goes- I’m using my time wisely.

However- oh yes the big HOWEVER- part of the time I would sell my soul to the Christian version of the Devil himself if he would slam one of those dinosaur killing asteroids right on planet Earth’s kisser.

For the past couple of weeks I’ve watched a couple of people I know just get down into the sewer and start licking the floor like there is no tomorrow. Which there wouldn’t be if I had my way.

But then I think about how scared my dog would be if a killer asteroid hit the planet Earth in the kisser  and I let that anger go-

part of the time.

The rest of the time is the challenge.

The Collectors

One year I went to a Halloween party and I got to take part in the best treasure hunt ever- here is a poem about one of the clues we were supposed to find:
Would you visit a cemetery on Halloween?
Would you touch the headstones, walk across or around the graves?
Would you visit it  a cemetery on Halloween  just as the shade fell from the trees?
If you visit a cemetery on Halloween, would you know what to do if you heard something creak from beneath your feet?
Would you pretend you hadn’t heard anything, would you keep walking slow
or would you look at your watch and say to no one, ” Look at the time I have to go”?
Would you visit a cemetery on Halloween
and look for your name carved in stone?
