Don-Old Lets Me Down AGAIN

Donald  Trump  announced that Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz becoming Kamala Harris’ 2024 running mate WILL UNLEASH HELL ON EARTH.

I’m not seeing it.

Now here is someone I can envision as being capable of bringing Hell to Earth- cool car right?

This Lucifer has a more traditional look but still is someone I can see who could definitely unleash Hell on Earth.

I dressed up like him for Halloween a few times.

Instead, this is the man Donald Trump says has the power to summon demons straight  from Hell and bring humankind to a fiery end.

What can I say.

I’m feeling a bit let down here.

100 Days of Halloween Fun: SUNSHINE

I don’t dislike Sunshine.

I don’t snarl at it or wear dark glasses or refuse to leave my house when it’s doing it’s thing.

Most of the time I just look up into the sky and say- ” Oh it’s you again. “

Sticker Shock

A few years ago I was traveling to the Midwest to see my Son and his family.

I had a slow start on the morning I had left, so I hadn’t eaten any breakfast. That was ok because I don’t really feel hungry until I’m awake. I figured I’d get something to eat at the airport. Once I got to the airport I  still wasn’t hungry and by the time I was on the plane and in the air I remembered I hadn’t ordered a meal so all I had to eat was a pack of cookies ( they’re actually pretty good ) and some pretzels.

Ugh. Not very appetizing.

So by the time I landed and got my baggage and met my son in the pickup loop I was STARVING.

I didn’t care where we stopped for a meal, I didn’t care how much it cost. I was so hungry!

We stopped for lunch and the tab was around  $30.00 (US)  for the both of us.

I couldn’t believe it cost that much.

WOW, you might be thinking, Anita must be a massive cheapskate if she thinks $30.00 is an expensive meal!

I do actually because my son and I  stopped at a McDonalds and I am sorry but that is an expensive meal given that we stopped at a fast food burger joint.

On the other hand, even though I will always feel it was over priced, I have to admit-

IT WAS DELICIOUS.
