I have read that the Black Cat by Edgar Allen Poe
is a story about good people who end up doing hideous things
for no one single ‘good reason’.
Personally, my take away from this story is
don’t mess with cats.
There are 12 Days until Halloween- be nice to each other and it’s probably a very good
idea to be especially kind to cats too.
Meant to be read out loud, enjoy.

Thirteen Days Until Halloween
On this 13th Day before Halloween I would like to remind you that Edgar Allen Poe’s
obituary
was written by his rival and critic
and that his rival created the madman and lunatic in that obituary
we have come to be familiar with today.
Two things.
When I found out that part of David Tennant’s makeup person’s job on the set of
” Doctor Who ” was to fluff his hair AND that it was possible to write obituaries for
people you hated and that you could say anything you wanted about them and it would
stick to their legacy as if you had used gallons of crazy glue- I realized I hadn’t chosen
my career path wisely.
And I wept.
15 Days To Halloween
There are 15 days left to Halloween.
I love Halloween candy and baked treats for Halloween, especially if caramel is involved- but vegetables are nice too- you thought I meant pumpkins, didn’t you? Go on. You did.
Feast your eyes on the Devil’s Tooth. From what I understand it is not as sweet as it looks.
