RDP Wednesday: Lighting

I’ve seen lighting storms in cemeteries.

I’ve been caught in storms, all alone out in the middle of nowhere and I at those times I really did feel like a monster was after me.

It was the roaring and the flash that made me think of monsters- if you’ve never had the experience of taking a few hard blows to the head then you wouldn’t know what it’s like when you see that flash and you find yourself between consciousness and  unconsciousness.

It’s pretty scary.

On one hand, being in those storms was a once in a lifetime thing but not one I’d chose to have. I was there when it happened.

But then again, I can’t imagine what it would be like to be floating through the sky on Saturn and be caught in a lighting storm.

To be honest though, I wouldn’t mind finding out.

Bit O’ Brilliance

I thought that the Supernatural Parody set against ” Shake It Off ” by Taylor Swift was a bit o’ brilliance, so I’m going to share a couple of versions because why not?

I’m also going to share my Granddaughter’s version because watching her running around an umbrella in circles while singing along with Taylor Swift will always have me asking, why?

Did I run?

Did I fall?

Did I yell, laugh, cry?

Did I make a sound on

those days I flew through the air as high as the trees

that I climbed when I was little

when I was fearless

when I lived wildly

and magic and curses were as normal to me as  peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches

topped with marshmello fluff.

This Officer led a murderous mob away from the doors to the Senate Floor- which were not locked and the Senate had not been evacuated yet. One officer stood up against a racist murderous MOB incited by the President of The US.

This moment in ⁦@igorbobic⁩ stunning footage. In front of the officer, coming up the stairs, is a mass of rioters. The USCP officer glances to his left. Between those two chairs is the entrance to the senate floor. He lured them to his right, away from their targets.

Officer Goodman  is the face bravery, honor and patriotism.
