What is the most important thing to carry with you all the time?

If it is important I don’t carry it with me. I only take things with me  that I can replace.

I take my dog out into the world because he knows how to find his way home, he doesn’t panic and he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.

But in thinking about it, I also keep a can soda, a bottle of water and some snacks in my backpack because I have been stuck in traffic or held up on  a train because someone walked in front of it and died more times then I care to count.

Having that little snack is a nice thing to have on hand.

As a side note I don’t like Soda, but my Mom is diabetic so I also carry a little sugary drink because in a pinch she’s needed it as well as sometimes a fellow commuter with the same condition.

But like I said, if it’s important I don’t carry it with me.

That’s easy.

In order to live a good life you need, Good friends, good music, good food and books- lots and lots of books.

Plus you need a good dog- or cat- or bird. Birds are okay. I’ll list them.

But I have to say, birds kind of freak me out because birds are descended from Dinosaurs and unless you’re Godzilla I’m not rooting for you.

Above all in order to live a good life, a secure life, a happy life you also need a good sturdy shovel.

Yes indeedy.  A good sturdy shovel that sits next to your back door or somewhere where it is easy to find- even in the dark- so that it’s there

I spend a lot of time with the monsters that live in my head and sometimes I spend a lot of time with the monsters that live in other people’s heads:

But most of the time we all spend time together with my dog, who doesn’t seem to mind we like to dress him up for the holidays like Pirates and Unicorns before we go back to telling stories about Devils and Demons and little old ladies who kill for fun.

Sorry WP Prompters, I can’t do that because I do NOT like chocolate bars and if I dreamed of one it would be in a nightmare. You didn’t ask me to describe my nightmare chocolate bar.

Because I am female- and along with being told my entire life that if I smiled more I would look prettier, I have heard we are supposed to love chocolate- but I most certainly do not love it.

When I bite into chocolate- and it doesn’t matter the quality of the chocolate itself- my brain reads what is going on in my mouth this way-

” Pennies coated in chalk dust? What the heck is going on down there? ”

I don’t have a refined palate where candy is concerned-my personal favorite candies  are Popcorn flavored Jelly Beans and Marshmallow  Peeps. So you can see I don’t eat a lot of candy and what I do eat is the same kind of candy you would find clutched in a toddler’s hand while they’re racing around the house before naptime,  but when I am out and about and have the opportunity to try out new desserts I go for it.

I hardly ever eat the same dessert twice. I mean I will work my way through the dessert menu because it’s fun and dessert time should be fun.

Before I started writing this post and I was looking for a little inspiration, I asked Google arts to show me Candy Dishes and it took me to Sweet Cuisine and there were some desserts I would try in a heartbeat.

The last dish is one that I am determined to try one day because that’s the way I roll baby.
