Fandango’s Provocative Question #64:  Are you the same person on your blog as you are in real life? Do you like yourself more in the virtual world than you do in the real world?

” I can tell where your head is at when I see your FB wall ” people say to me.

The funny thing is, I post links, pictures and quick lines about my reaction to

ARTICLES AND PICTURES THAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE CREATED.

I only call them posts because calling them ‘bread crumbs for FB advertisers ‘ takes to long.

I have said over and over again that what I write about, the tone of my stories the photographs I take or the ones I use to illustrate a post that I have written are a true reflection of who I am and what I think.

This blog really is a reflection of me- of what I care about, what matters to me, what I like to read and the music that always finds a way into almost everything I write.

In a nutshell, I’m honest in my writing for one reason simple reason.

I feel that if I am anyone else other then who I really am when I write, the readers will know- it’s like when someone sings off key, people will hear it. They will call you out on it.

They’ll feel like you’re hustling them.

At least, that’s what I feel like when I read something that has no passion, no honesty and no truth in it. It doesn’t have to be great writing, it might not even been good but that spark, that honesty makes it shine.

So I am in my poems, my short stories about grave robbers and grave diggers, devils and psycho Grandmas.

It’s honest, it’s me and all of the ghoulies and ghosties and long legged beasties and things that go bump in the night too.

You can count on it.
