Questions:

Do you have a favorite kind of tree?

I like trees that look like they have a story to tell.

It doesn’t hurt if they are on the sinister side too.

What bridges are you happy you burned?

All of those bridges that led to a place where I thought I would matter and count to the people in my life, but when I got to the other side, I’ll be darned! Not one thing I did mattered.

Poof. Those bridges are gone.

Now if my dog wags his tail in big circles when I make him happy I feel like the best human on the face of the Earth.

Would you sacrifice yourself (die) for a stranger?

Oh heck no!

When I was in my twenties my car stalled and I got hit from behind. We pulled off of the road and I ended up in a gas station parking lot. A mechanic came out and asked me if I wanted them to work on my car. I said I was waiting for the police .

He says, ” Get that piece of shit out of here or I’m going to charge you 300.00 for storing it.”

That was in 1985 and that was a hell of a lot of money. Plus it was probably illegal for him to do that.

I tried to start my car and it wouldn’t move.

I asked if he could help me push it out to the road and he said he’d tow it to the roadside- for 100.00.  Then he said if I didn’t move it NOW I was looking at paying  him 300.00.

I had banged my head on the steering wheel and I didn’t know it but both my eyes were black and my nose had bled too. He SAW that.

I was in the middle of pushing my Vega to the curb when the police showed up.

So no. In a life and death situation I don’t think I’d ever consider dying for anyone else. But I have played the sap for people I do know, so I guess anything is possible.

How have your priorities changed since the C-19 virus took over?

Photo A.M Moscoso

I care more about being creative .

That’s priority 1-2-3 for me.

I suppose it’s because I feel like the world and my life as I knew it before the Virus hit is pretty much gone and not coming back so what I have going forward from this point really has to matter…

for what used to be.

  1. Thanks A.M. for Sharing Your World and your photography! I would say that garage owner was an *insert bad word* and I’d have turned him into the cops for his attitude. Where was the other driver? Didn’t the cops want to talk to them too, given they caused the wreck? My goodness! Quite the ordeal! I’m glad things didn’t turn out worse. I hate bullies too.

    • Actually, the other driver was pretty decent. He was the one who walked to the phonebooth and called the police- this was before cell phones LOL and he owed up to the fact the accident was his fault- which was obvious because he rear ended me. And back then some garages and mechanics were outright hustlers. That was a long time ago, but it still bugs me.
