Let’s Feel The Spirit!

Photographer Unknown

I thought to help us October People get into the Spirit of things I’d post this prompt list from Inktober 2019 and a Halloween Writing Challenge from 2018

Why go with older prompts?

Well, there aren’t a lot of 2020 Halloween themed prompts out yet and this is more of a warm up then anything else so here we are!

With these prompts you should feel free to create whatever you want- stories, poems, artwork. It’s all up to you.

Ping back here or leave a link in the comment section in this post  so I can see what you’ve come up with and I hope you’ll check out my posts too.

Another thing you might want to do is to work on these now and post date them for October. That way you can take your time and have fun with your work which is what I may do for some of them.

Stay Cool everyone, the Bermonths are almost here.

And Now A Word From Your Enduring Bones

Putting My Feet In The Dirt August Writing Prompt #11-A Sizable Sanctuary

Photo A.M. Moscoso

Friends, I have an important message for you!

Picture it:

40 inches wide and 9 feet long

Not impressed?

Sounds like a hole in the ground you say?

Well hey presto and abracadabra

prepare to be amazed!

These  modest dimensions  are actually a sizable sanctuary

for what could be your  final home.

Picture it.

The lawn is always green

fresh flowers delivered almost daily

loud noises are discouraged and dog walkers are always welcomed.

Just a plot, a quiet  little space to call home

for a set of used and tired bones

used to the hustle and bustle of an over demanding world.

Doesn’t that sound delightful?

Keep it in mind.

But not before you fall asleep because that would be a super bad idea.

Still Here

FOWC with Fandango — Despondent

No shadow

I have no shadow

No voice

I never utter a word

My hands

are cold

my blood

is still

Walk around me, walk into me

go ahead

pretend like I’m not here.

Am I dead? Am I alive?

Am I still here?

I think I must be a ghost

haunting my own skin.
