RDP Monday: Trifling

A trifle is a yummy desert chock full of fruit and cream and served in a clear dish just so you can see the fruit and sponge with their little faces pressed against the glass waiting for your spoon to plunge into  their soft, vulnerable center and then, as my sons would have said when the were little kids,

” disappeared it all gone “

So I know what the dictionary says ” trifling ” means.

 I just don’t agree with the use of the word. It’s not as fun or tasty.
