Writer’s Write Prompt: He Was A Very Fussy Eater

 

He had sharp teeth,

strong jaws

large eyes set under a smooth heavy brow

sometimes, when he was out hunting he would kick a stone or step on a dry branch and

under his sharp and heavy heel he would crack it

and watch the dark trail ahead of him explode in a shower of

leaves, screams and chunks of bone.

 

But there were other times he would sit on a log or a bench and not move a muscle

because, as he had been in life

Broddy Macgibbon was a very fussy eater.
