WP Daily Prompt: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

In ten years time I hope that I am that thing

that makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck, when you’re all alone at night

or maybe I will be that chill that creeps from your feet to your knees

when you get out of bed  and you could swear you left the hall light on

but you didn’t.

I just hope that wherever I am or whatever I am

I won’t be that thing that goes bump in the night.

I hope that in ten years time I am as  disturbingly haunting as I am today.
