Today the WP Daily Prompt asked a timely question:  What are you most worried about for the future?

Every single time- and I do mean EVERY SINGLE TIME I think I’ve got some great ideas for a horror story, Donald Trump or the Republicans or the Republican’s Sugar Daddies on the US Supreme Court pull out their pens and say-

” Oh yeah? TOP THIS “.

Today the US Supreme Court  are trying to make sure that if Donald Trump takes office, that he never leaves it.

That’s right- the Convicted Felon, the guy who buried his Ex-Wife on his golf course, who has expressed a desire to have sex with his own daughter, who was found guilty of  sexually assaulting a  woman and defaming her and then tried  use his position as the President to have the case dismissed has it within his grasp to install a successor by making sure that our elections are invalid unless he says they are.

Donald Trump. The moron who think that electrical planes can’t fly if the sun isn’t shining. Don’t take my  word for it, here is his quote:

“All they know is electric. They want electric army tanks, they want electric planes. What happens if the sun isn’t shining while you’re up in the air?” asked Trump, who has oddly warned about possible electrocution and the threat of sharks due to electric boats weighed down by batteries.

That idiot would determine the fate of this Country.

In the TV series ” I Claudius ” part of what motivated Tiberius to name Caligula his successor  was that he wanted the Romans to hate someone more then they hated him. It was a legacy thing.

In turn Claudius named Nero as his successor because he was sure Nero would burn the entire rotten mess that Rome had become straight to the ground- and Nero ( in the TV series ) almost did exactly that.

It’s been suggested that President Biden exercise  the new Presidential powers bestowed upon the Office of the Presidency by the US Supreme Court because why not – and I am thinking that isn’t such a bad idea.

But the truth is, I am worried about the future today because for the first time in a long time, I’m wondering if there is a future for the United States.
