Does Autumn creep
does Autumn crawl
does it travel by bus
does it arrive by air?
When Autumn knocks upon
your door,
does it answer when you ask, ” Who is there?”
Autumn may travel
by water, by road
but I think Autumn comes
from the marrow of my ancient and Enduring Bones.
