My dream jobs wouldn’t pay much- as far as I  know they don’t actually exist but this is just a WordPress Daily Prompt so here they are:

I’d open a fun house- a decrepit run down fun house in one of those ghost towns you drive  by on your way to somewhere that involves room service and swimming pools and expensive restaurants and you think to yourself- I should stop by that weird town one day and see what’s up.

Well.

I would be what is up and I am ready and willing to make your nightmares come true.

I don’t like retail work- I did retail work for years and God did I hate it.  However the one sales job I would love to have is finding rental properties for ghosts.

I’ve read tons of stories about earthbound spirits that just wander roads and moments on dark stairways and basements in other people’s houses and who doesn’t want a home of their own?

Let me help those sad souls find a home to rest their bones.

I think I’d have a knack for that line of work.

What I would really  like to do is haunt all of those places that nobody sees or cares about and I would spend all day long writing spooky stories about them.

I sort of do that right now, but sort of doesn’t really cut it anymore.

Dreams are great- they are also at times very sad and that is a story to be told too.

It would be a haunting one.
