railway-autumnI’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.
― L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

We fall for beauty

we fall for love

we fall for promises

and empty words.

We jump for beauty

we jump for love

we jump to promises

we jump at a word.

With nothing to catch us

to guide us back down

we jump and fall

for anything, everything

except for

ourselves.
