Sticking To It

Underneath the Pike Place Market in Seattle, Washington

on a dark little road is the world famous

GUM WALL.

People from all over the world like to look at the Gum Wall and they even take turns getting their picture taken in front of it.

This is how it works:

You chew gum, take it out of your mouth stick it to the wall and make

art.

Myself, I’d rather not do anything that brings me in direct contact with the wall.

But then again, I never claimed to be an artist.

It actually smells kind of nice down in Post Alley, some of the time.

On the other hand, it’s almost a relief when you go back upstairs and you get a nose full of freshly caught fish.

I guess if you have to be famous for something, you could do worse then fish and chewing gum.

I guess.
