W.O.T.D.C- CARBUNCLE
When I was little I used to think that a carbuncle was the polite way of saying that someone was a ” pain in the ass ” because when someone really annoyed my Grandparents they used to say that person was ” a bloody carbuncle “
Eventually I learned what a carbuncle actually was but there was no going back for me. It was too late.
When someone really annoys me I can hear my Grandparents saying- not quite under their breath- ” bloody carbuncle. “
Sometimes when it’s wrong, it turns out to be right all the same.
