Best Songs On Earth ( and even Mars )

The Musician’s Table
Juan Gris1926

Music connects us- secures us  to important events in our life, to  memories ( both sad and happy ) it speaks for us when words fail.

I thought I would share a few of those songs that are special to me today.

Not only are these my favorite songs, The songs I chose to share have a special meaning. Well. It’s special if you’re a NASA geek like me.

These songs were ‘wake up songs’ that the Rover Mission Control team played for ” Oppy ” the Mars Rover whose given name was ” Opportunity”

Oppy explored Mars for 15 years. She died after a dust storm and if you don’t think that didn’t make a few of us shed a tear or two,  you  know it for a fact now.

So listen up, enjoy and rock on.

Now we finally found out the last words of the brave little robot. It appears that, as the storm was descending, Opportunity sent this message “My battery is low and it’s getting dark.”. The news made everyone sad and numerous touching messages were received from all over the world

It’s Alive

I tried to find a good quote about Artificial Intelligence to pair up with this artwork which was created by AI.

The problem was, I couldn’t find one.

I suppose I should ask my computer to come up with one.

AI was asked to  recreate human faces based on artwork and it did.

I couldn’t have imagined what AI saw- and I really wish I could have.
