So I decided to dress Hamish up in his Christmas sweater too:

As Hamish was sitting there, taking his picture like a good boy , I saw a ribbon from a candy box sitting on the dining room table. It was a big red bow and I knew exactly where to put it on Hamish- he wears bow tie collars, so I thought how perfect was this?

But then it struck me it would be cuter if I did this instead:

And before you read to much into that intense look in his eyes, I should tell you that to get him to sit still for the picture I put a cookie on the top of my head. It wasn’t a dogie cookie- it was a shortbread cookie and it smelled DELICIOUS.

Hamish would have worn a ball gown with all the fancy trimmings for that cookie,  so he was well rewarded and I got some cute pictures to share of my dog with all of my friends at my blog:
