On The Eve

Inspired by RDP Saturday HOLIDAY

Charle’s Dickens advised we keep the sport of Christmas in our  hearts year round.

Not all of us have hearts full of rainbows, song, positive vibes and song- so those of us whose hearts are a little darker and a lot more complex find our own way to keep that spirit in our hearts alive- which sounds a little like demonic possession but I digress.

With that, I hope you find my Christmas Eve post in keeping with the Spirit of the day.

Woof- That Was Fun!

Today’s Letter To Krampus inspired by the WP Prompt: What was the last thing you did for play or fun?

Dear Krampus:

Over the last weekend my Son sent me pictures of his dogs in their Christmas sweaters:

So I decided to dress Hamish up in his Christmas sweater too:

As Hamish was sitting there, taking his picture like a good boy , I saw a ribbon from a candy box sitting on the dining room table. It was a big red bow and I knew exactly where to put it on Hamish- he wears bow tie collars, so I thought how perfect was this?

But then it struck me it would be cuter if I did this instead:

And before you read to much into that intense look in his eyes, I should tell you that to get him to sit still for the picture I put a cookie on the top of my head. It wasn’t a dogie cookie- it was a shortbread cookie and it smelled DELICIOUS.

Hamish would have worn a ball gown with all the fancy trimmings for that cookie,  so he was well rewarded and I got some cute pictures to share of my dog with all of my friends at my blog:

Here We Go!

I know that the thing to do is to wait until after Thanksgiving to start writing about Christmas- but I’m not going to do that. So to kick things  of here is some music to spiffy up my blog for the upcoming holiday.
