Do I go to New Orleans in October and visit my favorite graveyard,  attend the Witches’ Ball and kill a little time at the Voodoo Musuem?

If you were me, what would you do to celebrate the Fall?

On the other hand, if I head north to Victoria BC I can visit the Royal BC Museum and explore The Time of Pharohs, I can go on a Ghostly Walk,  I can even stay at a hotel that is haunted by a ghost who knocks on your door and asks your help in finding a room that doesn’t exist anymore.

If you were me and you felt like something wicked this way comes- and the thought tickled you to death…what would you do to celebrate?

Feeling Like A Superhero

Today I finally helped my dog Hamish Macbeth, who happens to be my best friend, overcome his long standing hatred and fear of getting into cars and going for a ride.

Today I feel like a total Superhero.

I Remember When

I remember when you could wear a costume like this because it was sweet and funny.

Now that plastic face and that painted on happy smile is enough to give you the chills.

With that being said, it’s safe to say I would TOTALLY find a way to use this as a Halloween decoration this year.

I remember when I used to sit around and hate August and tolerate September because I was so desperate for Halloween to happen.

As an adult I have learned a valuable lesson about time.

There isn’t a lot of it and what is there goes by pretty fast.

As a rule, I do something Halloween related every chance I get.

Sometimes being an adult is worth the pain of endless responsibilities and gray hair and the creaky bones ( wait, I like that sound- strike that one ).

Sometimes you get to call the shots and NOBODY can stop you.
