Sunday Stills Challenge: #Winter Wonderland
We didn’t get any snow here in the Seattle area of Washington state, but it got cold enough to freeze the moisture on some spider webs.
I was amazed that the webs held up under that weight-and I was also surprised it got that cold Saturday night- but the webs and the ice were gone by late Sunday morning.

I thought it was breathtaking. I only have a phone camera but I’m guessing a better camera would have caught more detail. Still I’m glad I saw it.
Love seeing ice on webs, makes their intricacy really stand out 😃
Wonderful webs! I love your photos! It certainly seemed cold enough to snow over the weekend but I guess we’ll go on waiting for the first big snow of the season! 🙂
January or February. Oh well. Better late then never- or boring old rain LOL.
Totally agree! And who knows – maybe we’ll be surprised by snow before the year is over!
I’ve got my fingers crossed and a ton of personal leave built up so bring it on!
